Yerevan -Saghmosavank Monastery- Aragats Mt.-Kari Lake
Start heading to Saghmosavank monastery standing at the edge of the Qasakh Canyon. This is an ideal place for discovering 12-13th century Armenian architectural style in combination with awe-inspiring canyon of Qasakh river. The monastery is situated right in the centre of the important mountains of Armenia. Then we head towards Aragats Mt. to the Southern Peak to enjoy snow and mountain slopes. On the way back we will stop at Byurakan village to make a visit to a local organic strawberry farm and discover the secrets of making Armenian dried fruits. We end the day with mouth-watering home-made delicacies. Lunch with wine degustation at a Local family.
